Dominion Cast 3 – Super Movie Mayhem
Intended to be a civil discussion of recent films, I was joined by two comic crazy fanboys and one ever patient hostess – anarchy ensues. Hunin, Q, and Rib form the panel of this Cast covering the big men on the screen: Bat, Iron, and the ever testy Mr. Purple pants. We get intellectual on the genre – LOUDLY - plus get in some cinematic snobbery on WALL E and The Happening.

Harvey is likely still alive; The coin landed good heads up. If you brought back Billy D and made him half white, I’d half (heh) expect Frank Gorshin from ST:TOS to come busting out to arrest him for being white on the wrong side or something.
The Joker’s origins are numerous, diverse and hotly contested to this day, them not exploring it, but suggesting different explanations pulled out of his ass was a very intelligent move.
I last saw TDK with my wife and one of her friends, both women, both possessing ovaries, both loved it, so I’m not certain where your panelists indifference comes from. Maybe she just can’t handle the awesome.
Do not get me stated on Tim Burton…
Let’s just say he does his own ideas well but the ideas of others, he tends to take a total dump on.
Blade was not a super hero movie, it was a vampire movie. Anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves.
The action in (only) the first Blade was solid, but the writing was pain, getting moreso as the series progressed.
Contextually relevant obscure Frank Gorshin reference: 500 accolade pts.
Once you reach 100K I’ll write an article on how awesome you are or you will be invited to the panel via Skype (once we get it) or you may receive a Dominion T-shirt (once we have them) … I haven’t decided yet but that does deserve something.
I believe that Rib would like TDK if she saw it, her gyno-prejudice was the issue since she saw Batman Begins as a one time fluke, not the genesis of a new more mature franchise. She lacks the fan boy discernment of trailers we possess.
I agree with you about Blade, and couldn’t get over the syphillis-like disease vampirism was reduced to.
Somehow, I enjoyed Blade II. Can’t recall if I was on a date or in a bad mood – the perfect mindset for blood porn to me.
You have excellent analysis. thanks for writting
