Dominion Cast 6 – On Da TV

A discussion of the old boob tube composes this episode. What we look forward to returning and other favorites. Of course, there are some that should have had their series finale a while ago; they are named as well. Our personality panel this week includes Hunin, Rib, and Angie (though she shares half my grandparents, doesn’t inherit the same tastes). Still trying to sculpt our sound, we’ve experimented with some new music and hope you groove while you enjoy.

One person I feel you all forgot to mention from the office (who i think is very real) Stanley, so many people are stanley, and its funny because he just hates everything about that office but he’s there everyday to pay the bills, and as far as Drawn together, I would put them before South Park and The simpsons, simply because its a show that shits on Everything cartoons stand for, and they do it so that you couldnt get mad at them for shitting on a type of cartoon or steriotype, they treat them all equally, the fact that they can have a sterio-type crime solving black chick from the 70’s, a racest Disney princess, a Coke head superhero, a gay video game leader, an Anime poke’mon that dosent speak english, a sponge bob type of thing, and a black and white sex symbol from the 20’s but is a modern day (self titled) fat bitch and they go around fucking with the cartoon universe thats awsome, it reminds me of where Family Guy draws the line, Drawn together shits on the line and goes a mile on the other side, and I love that

  • Stanley’s more of a straight man than source of comedy, kinda like Toby. Who I will admit to leaving out that deserves it is Creed, the insane loner old weirdo.

Drawn Together doesnt make top ten on my list cause of that style you love. It’s not really clever, akin to a singer that doesn’t sing well, so they sing louder.

Comedy by ridiculousness will always take a backseat to comedy by wit. King of the Hill, though nowhere near as entertaining as many animations is wittier than Drawn Together, which is one of these South Park-inspired “be as wrong as possible” cartoons – yet not relevant at all.

Family Guy, and most good comedies, draw a line for a reason. Once you go past it you’re essentially the kid in first grade yelling “Booty” and “Pee pee” just to get laughs – although in more adult forms.
