Some of our new readers wonder what da Dominion is all about.

It is about the synthesis of Truth (notice the capitalization) from gathered opinions we can all agree upon. For example: douche bags deserve what they get. This is something we all agree with, but is it Truth? One of the ways to discern any empirical fact is its self-evidence in reality. The Young Turks, Dominion-approved net news show, brings us proof of this Truth:

Mr. Schwartz is not Dominion material. If you agree that he is a douche bag, given the blatant ignorance, callous arrogance and assholarity of his expressions, you are welcomed here and may become a citizen to join our great cause. Dudes and chicks that hang out/fuck with guys like this, calling each other “bro” or “hotties”, those who agree with the simplism of his views and consider those that don’t haters – are part of the problem.

This is not about politics, conservatives are welcome as are Republicans that can state their opinions reasonably. This is about actively ignorant attitudes that are propped up as a defense against a world too nuanced for them to handle. To conceal this fear they try to bring everything down to their level with crude labels, stereotype the only type they can define. They paint the world dull; we cut through their horse shit.

“I don’t know” is the honest starting point of wisdom; “I don’t care” is the end.
